So many of you have asked us when we’re bringing back our Earl Grey cakes. Yes it’s back!
This quintessentially British tea blend with a delightful and calming citrus flavour, is derived from oil extracted from the rind of a bergamot orange.
We’ve given the original recipe an uplift with a touch of soothing lavender fresh cream. And just for texture, we’ve also hidden some really juicy blueberries in between the fresh cream layer!
The result is a delicately scented and calming tea cake.
Ingredients: Earl grey tea, eggs, sugar, flour, milk, fresh cream, lavender, blueberries, seasonal edible flowers
This cake does not contain any preservatives and is best served within 3 days. Refrigeration required.
***Please note that the edible lavender flowers shown in the picture just went off-season after we completed our photography! We will be replacing the lavender with the latest seasonal flowers. Now you may inhale and have your cake!
