The first cake that TBF Junior and I ever made some 7 years ago, and we’ve perfected this over the years because it’s the only cake that TBF Junior will have for her birthday. A cake that’s filled with memories and our simple love for strawberries. This has since become our signature cake at Ten Butter Fingers.
We use a Japanese variety of strawberry for its perfect texture and sweetness when paired with this delicate sponge cake and fresh cream.
Now available in this not-quite-short version that’s great for smaller group celebrations, and perfect for all you can’t-have-enough-strawberry lovers! We’ve called this ‘The HAPPY Strawberry Shortcake’ because it simply has that happy vibe!
The cake does not contain any preservatives and is best served within 3 days. Refrigeration required.
